The clubs proximity to Manchester City Centre makes it relatively straightforward to plan travel to and from the ground. Supporters are encouraged to use public transport or share lifts where possible to help reduce the environmental impact.
Depending where in Manchester you are travelling into there are a couple of bus routes which both stop along the A56 (Bury New Road), just beyond the junction with Moor Lane which is a five minute walk to The Peninsula Stadium.
From Manchester Piccadilly: The X43 Witchway Bus runs from Chorlton Street (Stop EZ), past St. Peter’s Square and up the A56.
There is no parking on-site at The Peninsula Stadium for supporters due to space limitations.
As part of the conditions when planning permission was granted, the club agreed to a matchday resident-only parking scheme to be enforced on surrounding streets. This is effective on the roads marked in yellow above between 12:00 and 19:00 for games that kick-off at 15:00, and 17:00 and 23:00 for mid-week games. This is enforced by Salford City Council, and Salford City cannot be held responsible for any fines issued. Supporters are asked to be considerate of local residents and businesses if leaving your car elsewhere.
Blue Badge Holders can park within the residents’ permit zone for up to three hours; you must display your badge with the clock correctly set.
