The 2020 UEFA European Championship is to take place in 10 locations across the continent, for the first time in history, between 12 June and 12 July 2020.
The current holders are Portugal, who beat France 1-0 at the 2016 Euros (held in France).
VAR (Video Assistant Referee) will be used for the first time at these championships.
24 places are available in the tournament, due to the fact that no automatic qualification applies (even to those nations with a host city / venue).
