The stadium is located at the heart of the city of Southampton and is connected with excellent travel links.
Visiting fans are advised not to travel by private car into the surrounding areas of Southampton. Due to parking restrictions on a matchday, we recommend making use of public transport wherever possible.
However, if you do choose to drive to St Mary’s Stadium you can make use of a local City Council car park.
There's no general admission parking onsite at St. Mary's. However, there are plenty of car parking options nearby.

Southampton is served by Southampton Central Railway Station, which is approximately a mile from the stadium – roughly a 20-minute walk.
Please see ‘Shuttle Buses’ for details of the dedicated service to the station and back. The train station has staff available 24/7 and there are help points on every platform. There is a cash machine at the train station, as well as refreshment facilities, toilets, pay phones and shops. The station is fully accessible to wheelchair users 24 hours a day.
To get to St Mary's Stadium, hop on the Bluestar 3, Bluestar 16, or Bluestar 18 which stops on Britannia Road, a short walk from the stadium. You can also catch the Bluestar 7, stopping at City College, which is also a short walk from the stadium.
There's free parking for visiting supporters who are travelling either by official supporters coaches, private coaches or minibus on Britannia Road. Britannia Road is restricted by a road closure 1 hour and 30 minutes before kick-off but you can still gain access to this area.
