Travelling From Durham
If you're coming from the centre of Durham, head towards Shincliffe via Stockton Road (A177) and you’ll find Maiden Castle on the left-hand side.
Travelling From Outside Durham
For those coming from further afield, exit the A1(M) at junction 61 and follow the signs for Durham. Continue straight along Durham Road (A177) until you see Maiden Castle on your right-hand side, just before entering the centre of Durham.
There is plenty of parking available at Maiden Castle. It is situated immediately as you enter the site.
For some high attendance games, an overflow car park may be used which which is approximately 15 minutes walk away.

The stop nearest to the ground is called 'Houghall College'.
Durham Train Station is a 30 minute walk away from Maiden Castle, meaning you may wish to take a taxi or hop on one of the buses mention above to get to the ground. Durham station is served regularly by trains along the East Coast Mainline.
