Aston Villa WFC began life in 1973 as Solihull FC. They became affiliated to Aston Villa in 1989, as Villa Aztecs, and then changed name to reflect this in 1996 becoming the official ladies team.

From the North: Drivers should follow the M6 as far as junction 9, taking the A461 towards Walsall. Bear right onto Wallowes Lane (A4148) and turn right at the 2nd set of lights. The ground is on the left.
From the South: Drivers arriving from the South should exit the M6 at junction 7 and follow the A34 towards Walsall, being wary of the speed cameras on the dual carriageway. At the end of the dual carriageway, turn left at the Bell Inn pub into Walstead Road.
After about 2 miles, the entrance to the away end of the ground is on the right.
The Green Zone car park is locked two hours after the final whistle; any vehicles left on the car park after this time will be locked in.
Parking is also available at the nearby Bescot Stadium Railway Station.
There are free parking facilities for cyclists outside the Tile Choice Stand.
The Bescot Stadium has its own station (Bescot) situated behind the away end and just a short walk from the turnstiles. This station has regular services to and from Birmingham New Street, with a journey time of about 20 minutes.
Travelling fans are advised to use Walsall station for disability access as Bescot Stadium station is not able to support access needs.
As of January 1st 2023, the number 45 bus service, Walsall - West Bromwich (via Yew Tree, Stone Cross & Charlemont Farm).
This route will be run by Diamond on a revised timetable as 45 & 45A. This will also replace Diamond’s current 401E. National Express West Midlands tickets will not be valid on the 45 & 45A.
