Leigh Sports Village is also accessible by public transport. Leigh bus station is located in Leigh town centre and is a 10-minute walk from the stadium. The 597 bus service runs from the town centre to the stadium but this is a weekday-only service. The nearest train stations are Atherton (4.2 miles), Newton-le-Willows (5.3 miles) and Wigan North Western on the West Coast mainline (7.9 miles).
